Choose the way that suits you best, and rest assured: however you decide to reach us, you will have no difficulty.

Anyhow, keep in mind that Verona is a much easier city to get around on foot, or by bicycle, than by car. In fact, while maintaining high accessibility and in order to preserve its beauty and livability, the inner citadel is closed to motor traffic.

It is therefore advisable to park nearby and enjoy a healthy walk to your destination (which will also be extremely good for your health!)

The best way to get around Verona:

Enjoy a nice walk: in a few minutes you can reach Piazza Bra, Piazza delle Erbe or Via Cappello, where you can visit Juliet's House or stop at the most delicious shops in town.

Reaching the hotel by car and
parking solutions in Verona
  • Upon your arrival at Hotel indigo Verona, park your car at Garage Italia, just 20 meters from the hotel entrance. Ask our reception for information at the time of your booking or check-in.
  • While in town, however, pay attention to the current rules: the parking areas are marked by special columns where you can pay the parking ticket (that has to be displayed on your vehicle in order to avoid unpleasant inconveniences that could ruin your stay).
  Via smartphone, paying and checking (as well as extending) your parking time becomes even easier: just download the app Easy Park and ask our reception for the temporary flyer that you must place on the windshield of your car. At this point:
  • follow the app instructions, register (you need a credit card for digital payment)
  • choose the parking time, anticipate the end or extend the stay according to your needs
  • proceed with the payment authorization
You can also report and pay for your parking by calling the phone number 0899.260.100, after parking, and following the instructions. Be careful not to forget to communicate the Area Code (you can find it on the closest payment terminal or at the parking lot).

  • From the Valerio Catullo Airport of Verona – Villafranca: take the motorway, direction Verona, exit Verona Centro, drive to the hotel (approx. 10 Km -5 minutes). Total estimated drive time from the airport: 20 minutes.
  • From Marco Polo Airport, Venezia (distance in km: 110, estimated drive time: 1h 25 min.): take the Milano-Venezia motorway (A4) towards Milano, exit at the Verona South tollbooth, continue along the ring road towards Verona Centro for approx. 10 km.
  • From Milano Linate Airport (distance in km:170 – est. drive time: 1h 30min.) and Milano Malpensa Airport (km.195 – est. drive time: 2h 10min): take the Milano-Venezia motorway (A4) towards Venezia, exit at the Verona South tollbooth, continue towards Verona Centro for approx. 10 km.
  • From Orio al Serio – Bergamo Airport (distance in km: 115 – est. Drive time 1h 30 min.): take the Milano-Venezia motorway (A4) towards Venezia, exit at the Verona South tollbooth, continue towards Verona Centro for approx. 10 km.

Verona Porta Nuova railway station
Hotel Indigo Verona - Grand Hotel des Arts is about 800 meters from Verona Porta Nuova railway station. Once there, you can choose to:
  • reach us on foot in about ten minutes: pass through Piazzale XXV Aprile, take Via Statale 12, follow Corso Porta Nuova for a hundred meters: you will find us there, on the right side of the street.
  • Take a taxi outside the station and be here in a 5 minutes ride.

  • Take bus number 52 (Stallavena - Via Chiesuola) to the first stop, Corso Porta Nuova. Walk for 150 meters towards the hotel.
  • Take bus number 73 (L.go Castiglioni 1 Cap.) to the first stop, Via Raggio Di Sole Fr. 7. Walk on Corso Porta Nuova for approx. 150 meters towards the hotel.
  • Take bus number 12 (Via Dolomiti 61 Cap.), stop at Via della Valverde 9 II (third stop) and walk for 5 minutes (350 meters) along Corso Porta Nuova towards the hotel.
  • Take bus number 133 (Americani Castelletto) to the first stop, Porta Nuova. Walk for approximately 5 minutes (350 meters) along Corso Porta Nuova towards the hotel (left side of the street).
  From Verona Porta Nuova railway station – A2:
  • Take bus number 104 (Fosse) to the first stop, Porta Nuova. Walk for approximately 5 minutes (350 meters) along Corso Porta Nuova towards the hotel (left side of the street).
NOTE:
a short distance from the parking lot of Verona Porta Nuova railway station (via Girolamo Cardinale 2) is where stops FlixBus, the low-cost private ground transportation that connects the city to the other main Italian cities and airport destinations.
Our location
Hotel Indigo Verona – Grand Hotel des Arts is located on the road that takes from Porta Nuova (railway station, highway junction) to Piazza Bra, the Arena and Palazzo della Gran Guardia. From here, visitors can easily walk to Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori, and find restaurants, shops, wine bars and the main buildings of historical and cultural interest in town. The hotel is also very close to Porta Nuova railway station and to the motorway junction that leads, to the main airports and the most important cities of Northern Italy.
