The Arena Opera Festival 2022 starts on June 17th with Georges Bizet's 'Carmen': 46 evenings of magnificent shows, with the best voices on the international scene under the musical direction of Marco Armiliato.

Settembre Classico

Shows at Teatro Romano

There are two shows in SETTEMBRE CLASSICO, the section of the Veronese Theatre Summer dedicated to ancient theatre, staged at the Roman Theatre. On one side will debut, in national première, from the 1st to the 3rd of September, an original production that brings on stage the rewriting of "Iliade" directed by Alessandro Baricco. On the other, on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th September, "Iphigenia in Tauride" by Euripides directed by Jacopo Gassmann, marking the return of the collaboration between the festival and the Istituto Nazionale del Dramma Antico. Music Awards 2022

The 2022 edition of the Music Awards will take place on 9th and 10th September. The music event, which has been a yearly fixture for fans, will once again be held in the picturesque setting of the Arena di Verona. The two evenings will be hosted by Carlo Conti and Vanessa Incontrada.
