Tocatì – International Street Games Festival

The UNESCO festival returns for its 24th edition, transforming the Veronetta district into a vibrant urban space dedicated to traditional street games from around the world. Officially included in the UNESCO Register of Good Safeguarding Practices for Intangible Cultural Heritage, Tocatì (which in the Veronese dialect means “your turn”) celebrates play as a living cultural expression capable of bringing people together and fostering new connections among communities.
Three days of free activities featuring Italian and international traditional games, workshops, live music, theatrical and cultural performances. Northern Italy’s most important contemporary art fair returns with 113 art galleries from across Italy and abroad. The 21st edition, under the artistic direction of Laura Lamonea, presents six curated sections exploring current trends in contemporary art.
Among the 2026 highlights: Still, a section curated by Giovanna Manzotti and dedicated to works reflecting on time and memory; the Cinema Hall, featuring video projections in collaboration with national and international archives; the Invito a Vedere podcast (lit. “invitation to see”) with talks and meetings; and the Interfiera, a programme connecting ArtVerona with other cultural events across the city.

Bardolino Grape and Wine Festival

The 95th edition of this historic Garda festival celebrates Bardolino DOC wine, welcoming over 100,000 expected visitors across the five opening days. Bardolino’s lakeside promenade transforms into a lively festive space with dozens of food and wine stalls, free tastings of local wine, and specialities from the Garda tradition.
The programme includes evening concerts, the parade of allegorical floats (Sunday), the blessing of the grapes, the investiture of new members of the Bardolino Confraternity, and local craft exhibitions.

Hostaria Verona – Wine Festival

Three days of tastings in the very heart of the city to celebrate Veronese wine excellence. The event transforms Piazza Bra and Piazza dei Signori into a large open-air space dedicated to local DOC wines: Lugana, Bardolino, Valpolicella (including Amarone), Custoza, Soave, Lessini Durello, Garda DOC, and Monte Veronese DOP.
Besides the tastings, the programme includes wine talks with industry experts, seminars led by professional sommeliers, and food stalls offering typical products paired with local wines. Fieracavalli – 128th Edition

Italy’s largest equestrian event returns for its 128th edition with four days of shows, competitions, and exhibitions. Following the success of 2025 (over 140,000 visitors from 79 countries), Fieracavalli 2026 confirms its role as an international reference point in the equestrian world.
The programme features CSI5* show jumping competitions (the highest level in international jumping), Western & Ranch sport events, equine breed exhibitions, live equestrian shows, and a vast showcase of equipment and services for equestrianism. Among the new additions are the National Breeding Circuit Finals for two and three-year-old horses, assigned by MASAF decree.

Verona Run Marathon

The 25th edition of the city marathon marks an important milestone with a renewed route that crosses Verona’s most iconic locations. The race starts at Stadio Bentegodi at 9:00 and finishes in Piazza Bra after 42.195 km.
The event offers three competitions: the marathon (42 km), the half marathon (21 km), and the family run (5 km), with thousands of participants expected from across Italy. The almost entirely flat route follows the banks of the Adige river and winds through the historic centre, offering runners a unique scenario.
Beyond the race itself, the programme includes side events, food stalls, exhibition areas, and entertainment for accompanying persons and families.
